State-of-the-art technologies

Advanced controller technology ensures native support for IBM Advanced Function Presentation™ (AFP™) and Intelligent Printer Data Stream™ (IPDS™). Page level error detection and recovery capabilities help prevent job resends, minimize human intervention and streamline printing.

New imaging technology enhances the appearance of graphics and scanned images, with crisp halftones, improved solid area fill and enhanced gray scale capability.

Lower operational costs

Using the Infoprint 70’s internal Web pages and Network Printer Manager™ (NPM) software, network administrators can easily set up, configure and manage the printer. E-mail and pager alerts can be sent when the printer needs attention, maximizing up-time and reducing overall resource consumption and therefore total cost of ownership.

Ready for e-business

Through standard Internet Printing Protocol (IPP), print jobs can be submitted over the Internet. In addition, the printer’s resident Web server enables pull printing, where users provide the Web address of PDF, PCL or PostScript® files, and the printer will access and print them. This saves download and file-print submission time.

Maximize flexibility

An input capacity of up to 6,150 sheets through five trays provides the ability to choose from different media sizes, weights and stocks —including large paper sizes and heavier paper weights—without delay.
